The Courr\u00e8ges fashion house<\/h2>\n

After ten years as a designer at Balenciaga, Andr\u00e9 Courr\u00e8ges founded the Courr\u00e8ges fashion house in 1961 together with his wife Coqueline. Courr\u00e8ges is known for its forward-looking, high-end fashion pieces, among them the miniskirt, the short white dress and trousers for women. The clean lines and avant-garde silhouettes are refined and boundary-pushing at once.<\/p>\n

Empriente was the first perfume<\/h2>\n

The illustrious couple\u2019s first perfume launched in 1970, named Empriente<\/strong><\/a>. Empriente is a floral perfume for women, created by nose Robert Gannon. Like the designs, the perfume was thoroughly modern too, built on artemisia, coriander, bergamot, melon and the musky, sweet scent of castoreum.<\/p>\n

Casual and elegant<\/h2>\n

For the brand\u2019s sixtieth anniversary, the Belgian Nicolas Di Felice, artistic director of Courr\u00e8ges, breathed new life into the perfumes and released a distinctive Hyper and Colorama collection.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>
