Cuban-American hairstylist Oribe Canales worked closely with photographer Steven Meisel and make-up artist François Nars in the late 1980s. He became known for his extravagant work on the shows of Chanel and Versace among others, and went on to be the regular hairstylist for names such as Jennifer Lopez, Helmut Newton and Mario Testino.
