I Want by Mark Buxton is a bold, modern chypre, set apart by a sparkling and intensely fruity character with top notes of blueberry and redcurrant. An unusual heart of natural ingredients such as iris, tuberose, jasmine, rose, neroli and magnolia. The base is a blend of modern woods, patchouli, vetiver and a light oud. A bold and unusual fragrance.
For Mark and David, simple formulas are the rule: no note is added to the composition at random. The message has to come across clearly. The formulas are simple, yet challenging at the same time. When a fragrance calls for it, they don’t hesitate to ‘overdose’ a particular ingredient. Some notes reach a concentration of as much as 10%. Simplicity demands a strict balance, with every ingredient playing a crucial role.
