Description

Molecule 01 + Cistus by Escentric Molecules is made of Iso E Super and cistus, a powerful pairing that creates an intensely warm scent experience. Iso E Super is an abstract molecule with a woody, cedar-like character and a cocooning feel. Cistus is drawn from the resin of the Mediterranean Cistus ladanifer shrub and brings a warm, smoky, amber-like depth. Perfumer Geza Schoen calls this combination a study in contrasts: soft and animalic, warm and mineral. With 4% cistus absolute, this is a powerful fragrance that captivates from the very first spray.

Escentric Molecules owes its existence and unrivalled popularity to a scent molecule not found in nature: Iso-E Super, a synthetic, sweet and velvety woody note. Perfumer Geza Schoen was convinced the concept would appeal only to true fragrance enthusiasts, yet from its launch in 2006 Escentric Molecules became a worldwide phenomenon.
