In the 1980s, the British skincare specialist Jane Wurwand realised that most brands were focused on glamour rather than healthy skin. So she founded Dermalogica, with products that improve the skin and keep it healthy, free from irritants and ingredients such as lanolin, denatured alcohol, dyes and fragrance. At first Dermalogica was available only through qualified skincare specialists, but this highly successful brand can now also be found at the better cosmetics specialists.
