The Tucson Incense sticks by Astier de Villatte carry you off to the Arizona desert, surrounded by giant cacti in astonishing shapes. Wander through the centre of Tucson and, overcome by the heat, pause in the shade of a mesquite tree with a small glass of mezcal. Heady scents of the far west drift through the air: lightly smoky, sweet aromas of wild grasses, scorched wood, immortelle flowers and red earth baked by the sun.

Astier de Villatte was founded in Paris in 1996 by Benoît Astier and Ivan Pericoli. With respect for the traditions and craftsmanship of the great French ceramic houses, the brand creates distinctive and at times surreal collections.
In 2008, Astier de Villatte began working with Françoise Caron and her team of young perfumers. This gave rise to a series of remarkable eaux de parfum, organic scented candles, incense and handmade ceramic curiosities, such as the incense-smoking cat.
The eau de parfum collection is available exclusively at Babassu.
