From the farm to Babassu

The foundation of Babassu lies on the farm where Heidi grew up. From an early age she was fascinated by the magic of nature and the way it awakened all her senses. The playful shapes of the clouds, the vivid colours of flowers, butterflies and birds, and the many different scents.

Heidi’s love of beauty

She still remembers the musty smell of the goats on the farm, freshly mown grass and the dried hay she played in up in the barn. The scent of her grandmother’s talcum powder and her mother’s lipstick, which smelled of a mix of violets and iris, are treasured memories too, and they lie at the heart of Heidi’s love of beauty, scent and experience. A passion that eventually grew into the Babassu of today.
