Description

The Body Polish by Olverum is a smooth, soufflé-like exfoliant with a dual action, designed to polish the skin gently yet effectively. It nourishes the skin deeply while firming and brightening at the same time, for a taut feel and a naturally radiant look. First, papaya enzyme gently breaks down dead skin cells, allowing the cleansing hydro-clay to lift and remove deep-seated impurities. The airy texture also offers a soothing effect during a thorough massage. Firming bergamot, lavender and geranium oils work in harmony to improve elasticity and give a rejuvenated look and feel. Botanical ingredients such as grapefruit and fennel oil brighten both the complexion and the mind, blending harmoniously with the reviving scents of patchouli and ylang-ylang.

How to use

– Apply to damp skin and massage in with circular movements to boost the exfoliating action and stimulate circulation.
– Then rinse off, or leave on for a few minutes so the papaya enzyme can penetrate more deeply into the skin’s surface.
– For best results, use once or twice a week.

about Olverum

The self-care brand Olverum grew from the passion of German winemaker Franz Otto Klein and his wife Edith, and their love of travel and essential oils. In 1931 the couple created an exceptional therapeutic oil, inspired by the spa towns of Baden-Baden. The Second World War brought production to a halt, but the recipe was buried in the garden, allowing their son Peter to resume the work in 1948. He named it Olverum, from oleum verum (“true oil”).

For many years it remained a well-kept secret, until Michael Hawksley discovered the brand in 1984 and secured exclusive distribution rights for the United Kingdom. In 2014 his family took over the brand entirely, and in 2015 Michael’s son Dominic relaunched Olverum with a modern look, without losing its rich heritage.
