Description

Bois d’Ambrette by Atelier Materi is a fragrance created with the versatile botanical musk known as ‘ambrette’. The ambrette seeds are harvested by hand from small plots scattered through the tropical forests of northern Peru. The seeds are sun-dried, sifted, cleaned and aired, so that they gradually reveal their floral, powdery accents.

Perfumer Marie Hugentobler chose to let the rich, complex facets of ambrette come fully to the fore. After a fresh, radiant opening of mandarin and angelica, the sensual, animalic notes of ambrette unfold. Together with the elegant, soft woody scent of sandalwood and ambroxan, Bois d’Ambrette becomes a fragrance that seems innocent, yet quietly suits your skin perfectly.
