Description

For Juliet, it is not what things are called that matters, but what they are: “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet”. A declaration of love in the garden of an English castle. Marina’s mother was so beautiful that, at sixteen, she received a marriage proposal during a walk through the Tudor rose gardens of Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, where she was also born. That special moment stayed with her always, and this memory was at the heart of creating this classic fragrance.

Altaia is an acronym of ‘A Long Time Ago In Argentina’ and refers to the remarkable love story of Sebastián from Argentina and Marina from Italy. When they met in Positano on the Italian Amalfi Coast at the start of this century, they discovered that their ancestors had also met a century and a half earlier, far away in Argentina.

The collection consists of timeless yet contemporary eau de parfums, each telling its own story. Presented in handmade bottles. Every box includes the story of the fragrance, signed by Marina and Sebastián themselves.
