Don’t Cry For Me by ALTAIA is founder Sebastián’s memory of his home city, Buenos Aires in Argentina.
In summer, jasmine arrived from the northern provinces and was sold in bunches on every street corner by sweet old women. The perfume calls up this memory, with the melancholy of a tango. A fruity fragrance with freesia that carries you to the passionate, sunlit culture of Argentina.

Altaia is an acronym of ‘A Long Time Ago In Argentina’ and refers to the remarkable love story of Sebastián from Argentina and Marina from Italy. When they met in Positano on the Italian Amalfi Coast at the start of this century, they discovered that their ancestors had also met a century and a half earlier, far away in Argentina.
