Duro by Nasomatto is a woody chypre fragrance for men. In Italian, ‘duro’ carries meanings including tough, dangerous, hard, harsh, rock-hard, powerful, leathery, rough and strong. It speaks to both the wearer and the scent, for with this perfume the perfumer Alessandro Gaultieri set out to draw out and amplify masculine strength, ‘however it manifests itself’.

Duro is fierce and powerful, conjuring images of medieval weapons forged from wood, iron and leather. It is untamed and virile, a raw and ‘macho’ scent that cares nothing for leaving a civilised impression or smelling of sweet flowers in a vase. Duro makes a statement, followed by a very large exclamation mark, that will appeal to the modern force of nature: fierce, carnal and wildly sexy.
