Laura Mercier grew up in Provence and trained at the renowned Carita Beauty Institute, where she developed her expertise as a make-up artist. In the mid-1980s, she moved to the United States and began a career in the magazine industry, creating cover looks for Vogue and working with Hollywood stars including Mariah Carey, Céline Dion and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Laura is the originator of the ‘flawless face’ technique: a natural approach to make-up that conceals imperfections while enhancing each person’s best features. She went on to develop a range of innovative techniques and products, including her renowned tinted moisturisers and the Secret Camouflage Concealer Duo.
