Description

Musk opens with white musk, galbanum and cardamom, like a soft, downy embrace. A full rose soon emerges at the heart, a blend of rose and its sharper sibling, geranium. The enveloping base is built on creamy sandalwood, cedar and rosewood, deepened by a generous measure of vanilla. With its powdery softness, Musk calls to mind fabrics: velvet, fur, soft cotton. Together it reads as a full, warm musk, ideal for anyone seeking that classic ‘my skin but better’ quality, a true skin scent. Those who love not only musk but also dark, warm floral notes and sandalwood may well find their new favourite in this alluring composition.

Lorenzo Villoresi works from his atelier in the family home in Florence, with a beautiful view over the river Arno. In the building next door is a knowledge centre with a museum, a scent garden and education about the world of fragrance and perfume.

Lorenzo developed his love of the art of perfumery during his many travels through the Middle East, where he discovered a rich world of scent: herbs, spices, exotic flowers and plants. In 2006 he became the first independent perfumer to win the prestigious Prix François Coty. His best-loved and best-known creation is Teint de Neige, the ultimate powdery perfume.
