Description

Abd el Kader by Cire Trudon has the scent of Moroccan mint tea. The freshness of mint, a touch of ginger and the warm notes of tea and tobacco transform any room in your home into a balmy evening. Abd el Kader was a nineteenth-century Algerian writer, poet and philosopher, a man respected even by his enemies. Cire Trudon has been making handcrafted candles in Normandy, France, since 1643, making it the oldest candle house in the world. In its day, Cire Trudon’s candles were used by King Louis XV of France, and they are still made in the same traditional way today.

How to use

– The holder is made of glass and the wick of cotton.

– When lighting the candle for the first time, allow the entire surface to melt.

– To preserve the fragrance, we recommend burning the candle for no longer than three hours at a time.

Ingredients

– This scented candle is made from essential oils and 100% plant-based wax, containing palm, rice, soy and copra, among others. The gold label on the candles is made exclusively for Cire Trudon by the oldest maker of champagne labels in France. Printed in gold lettering with the Cire Trudon logo and its inscription used since Louis XIV: ‘deoregique laborant’ (“they work for the king and for God”). The glass holder is hand-blown and looks refined and elegant in any interior.
