Why Not a Fougère? by Mark Buxton is a fougère fragrance with a modern twist. A classic fougère contains lavender, wood and another fresh note, such as moss or a woodland note, but with an overdose of angelica, exaltolide (a musk that occurs naturally in angelica seeds) and a lightly fruity top note of pear, this fougère takes on a modern edge. The leathery base note gives it depth and elegance.
