Wrinkles remain visible when your face is relaxed
While fine lines show mainly during movement, wrinkles stay visible even when your face is completely relaxed. These changes are most often noticed on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. Many women watch these lines slowly deepen. In our boutiques we regularly find that women focus mainly on the wrinkle itself. Yet several changes in the skin often occur at the same time, and these can have just as much influence on how the face looks. That is why we always consider the fuller picture, not only a single visible line or crease.
Your face slowly loses volume
One of the changes many women recognise, but cannot always name straight away, is a loss of volume. The cheeks look less full than before, the skin along the jawline changes and the contours soften. Sometimes the face can begin to look more tired, even when little has changed in lifestyle or health. This often stands out more in photographs from a few years ago than in the everyday mirror. Many women think at first that they simply look tired, when in fact the skin is losing volume and support. That is an important distinction, because it calls for a different approach.
